Chester
Borden/Executive Director
Chester started at the WPYC on May 1/05 and previously
worked with the CBVRSB as a Student Support Worker. Chester
is a graduate of the Holland College Child and Youth Care
Program and has worked with the youth of the community for
over 20 years.

Mark Gardiner/Youth
Worker
Mark is our senior staff person and has been with the club
since 1994. He is in charge of the on going maintenance of
the club and assists with several of the programs offered at
the club.

Janie Webber/Youth
Worker
Janie is our staff person and a graduate of the Island
Career Academy Youth Worker Program. Janie has always been
involved with the youth of the community and brings many
positive programming ideas to the club.

Margaret MacLeod/Youth Worker
Margaret is our new staff person and a graduate of the
Island Career Academy Youth Worker Program. She is from the
Northside and also has been involved with youth and
brings many positive programming ideas to the club. |

Community Volunteers
The Whitney Pier Youth Club depends on the support of
community to assist with the supervision and maintenance of
programming. We also establish partnerships with various
educational agencies in the community that can offer
specific resources and services to youth. We have
established work placement programs with CBU-BACS, NSCC-Marconi
Human Services Program and Island Career Academy Youth
Worker Program.
